The game URL redirects instead of showing the board
Four reasons the app deliberately sends shoppers straight to the product page.
Opening the game URL lands you on the product page with no board. That is a deliberate redirect, and there are exactly four reasons for it.
1. The campaign is not live
Draft and paused campaigns redirect. Publish it, or resume it. To preview a draft without publishing, use the Preview button in the editor, which creates a signed preview link that renders drafts.
2. The free plan’s monthly allowance is used up
Past 300 impressions on the free plan the board stops rendering and shoppers go straight to the product page. The dashboard shows this. See What happens at 300 impressions.
3. The slug does not match a campaign
A typo in the URL, or a slug that was changed after the ads were built. Check the exact game URL on the campaign page and compare it with what your ad points at.
4. The request looked automated
Heavy bot filtering runs before the board renders. Preview tools, link checkers and some ad-platform crawlers get redirected. A real browser will render normally.
Why a redirect and not an error
Your ad spend is live. Every one of these cases means something is wrong on our side of the funnel, and a redirect still sells the product. An error page on a running campaign is the most expensive possible failure, so the app never shows one.
Getting a 404 rather than a redirect
That is different: it means the app proxy is not resolving at all. Reinstalling the app restores the proxy. Email us if it persists.
