Running more than one campaign
When to split into several campaigns, how the plan limits work, and what pausing does.
A campaign is one destination with one prize set. Once you are running ads for more than one product, you need more than one campaign.
What counts against your limit
Only active campaigns. Drafts, paused and archived campaigns are free, so you can build as many as you like and only publish what your plan allows.
Current limits are on the pricing page and explained in What each plan includes.
Good reasons to split
- Different products. Each needs its own destination page.
- Different audiences. A cold-traffic board with a stronger gift, and a retargeting board with a smaller one.
- Different seasons. A Black Friday board with heavier gifts, built ahead and published on the day.
Pausing instead of deleting
Pausing takes a campaign offline and frees the slot, without losing the configuration or the analytics. This is how you rotate: pause the campaign that has run its course, publish the next one.
A paused campaign’s URL redirects shoppers to its destination page rather than showing an error, so any old ad still pointing at it keeps converting.
Deleting
Deleting removes the campaign and cleans up its discount rules. Analytics for a deleted campaign go with it, so pause rather than delete if you might want the numbers later.
