Publishing and pointing ads at it

What publishing actually does behind the scenes, and where to find the URL your ads need.

Publishing is the moment the campaign becomes real. It takes a few seconds and does several things at once.

What publishing does

  1. Checks your plan allows another active campaign.
  2. Checks your copy for blocked chance language.
  3. Checks every gift product is actually sellable.
  4. Creates the discount rules that grant your gifts, in your store’s own discount system.
  5. Publishes the game page at yourstore.com/apps/fliptowin/your-slug.

If any check fails, nothing is published and the app tells you which one. Every possible failure is documented in Troubleshooting.

Your game URL

After publishing, the dashboard shows the game URL. That is the link your ads point at, in place of the product URL you would normally use.

It is an ordinary URL on your own domain. You can add UTM parameters, use it in email, put it in a link-in-bio, or send organic traffic to it. Nothing about it is specific to paid social.

Pointing ads at it

In your ad platform, replace the destination URL with the game URL. Nothing else about the campaign changes: same creative, same audience, same pixel.

Because the page is on your domain and inside your theme, your pixel fires on it like any other page. You do not need to install anything extra to keep tracking working.

Editing a live campaign

You can edit a published campaign and save. The app re-runs the same checks and updates the live discount rules. If a check fails on save, the campaign is paused rather than left in a broken state, and the app tells you why.

This matters: a campaign whose gift went out of stock will pause itself rather than keep sending shoppers to a game that cannot deliver.
